This week, since we have visitors, we thought this English-Slovak word would be appropriate:

We included the letter “Ť” since that is not a sound we use often in English – it is a soft T sound, something like what we use at the beginning of the word “tube” or “tuna.”
This is the kind of word language learners call a “false friend.” It’s a word that looks similar to an English word we know, but has a different meaning. In fact, this word has a completely opposite meaning!
On the subject, we are so grateful to have this team here from Richmond, and we are having a wonderful time!
