Wow! Last week we had a wonderful time with a team from Huguenot Road Baptist Church in Richmond, Va. Five team members came here to explore and be immersed in Slovak and Roma culture. We were truly blessed by their visit, and we believe that God blessed them as well!
One of our stops during the week was to visit a new Roma school in Kezmarok, about 1.5 hours west of Kosice. While we were there, we received an unexpected treat – we got to sit in on rehearsal for a Kesaj Tchave, a group of Roma children who play, sing and dance to traditional Roma/Slovak music. The photo below cannot adequately portray the amount of energy and passion in that small room! It was truly an unforgettable experience!
