Thursday Snapshot – 27 February 2014

Today’s snapshot is another group photo from students in the U.S. who have been learning about God’s work among the Roma people, through the SPARK and FORM curricula published by CBF.  These new friends are the 4&5 year-old Mission Friends group from Cliff Temple Baptist Church in Dallas, TX.  They had lots of good questions for us over email – they were especially interested to find out if we tried keeping a fish in our bathtub!

We were intrigued and encouraged to hear about the things these children and their church are involved in!  Here’s a little about Cliff Temple from this group’s adult leader, Susan Leftwich:

We are in an inner city neighborhood that is surrounded by many first generation immigrants from Mexico.  Language, school, and jobs are a common denominator here as well.  Our church’s mission statement is “building everyday people into everyday missionaries for Jesus Christ.”
