In English – especially in the American South – we use the word “church” for lots of things. While we have different English words for all these concepts, we often just use the word “church.” Even in Slovak, sometimes the words below have different meanings and are used interchangeably. But the point is, when we are trying to say the word “church,” we have to choose carefully…
